In January 2025 Bastion Clarity EO/IR balls were integrated into a partner coastal-watch modernization program covering harbor mouths and littoral approaches—part of wider European attention to maritime security and diversionary threats.

Bastion’s sensors filled mast and tower mounts feeding a national recognized-maritime-picture cell. Operators used them for vessel identification and nighttime watch, not as a Bastion-run coast guard.

Integration with Sentinel gap-filler radars at two sites created a sensor sandwich Bastion now pitches as a coastal starter kit.

The work reinforced Toulouse’s role as Bastion’s optics center of gravity after the investor transition.
