Bastion LinkGrid voice and mesh-data nodes took part in a September 2023 multinational interoperability exercise on the Baltic approaches, connecting partner battalion TOC shelters with higher echelons under jamming serials.
Bastion’s role was industry support: configure waveforms allowed for the exercise, train radio operators, and collect latency metrics—not command troops.
Exercise controllers praised MANET relay behavior when fixed lines were “destroyed” in the scenario. Bastion engineers noted which connectors failed in mud and redesigned dust caps afterward.
The event strengthened Bastion’s claim that C4ISR products must prove themselves in coalition mud, not only in lab Faraday cages.
