In spring 2020 Bastion signed a teaming agreement with an Alpine-region armored-vehicle integrator (partner name withheld) to supply Aegis composite and ceramic modules for mid-life upgrade packages.

Bastion provided panel kits, lug interfaces, and CAD twins; the integrator handled hull fitting, customer acceptance, and depot training. The deal gave the young company serial demand without owning a full vehicle line.

Program managers later called the partnership Bastion’s “first industrial handshake”—proof that a Zurich start-up could sit inside a longer OEM schedule without rewriting the hull.

Lessons from the teaming—interface control documents, witness-test discipline, and spare-panel logistics—became templates for later Horizon, Sentinel, and NetGuard partnerships.
